Anywho, here's my inspiration mosaic that I put up there. I realise that a lot of these aren't actually made with only solids, but I wanted to give an idea of techniques and things I liked as much as colours etc. I apparently freaked Sarah out with the number of circles in here, so she's probably up there in Shetland, sacrificing a few goats to the quilting gods in the hopes that she doesn't get lumbered with me ;o)

ReplyDeleteGreat mosaic! That would be a great swap to be part of. I'm not looking at the quiltalong list, I'm being so strong and ignoring temptation so I can finish the zillion projects I have in my cupboards.
ReplyDeleteHa! Sarah up there with her goats! What a funny image.
ReplyDeleteYour mosaic is just lovely - the seeing squares quilt you included is one of my favorites too. Haven't seen fun and colorful before, but that's super pretty too.
Loving your mosaic of inspiration here! Nothing like setting yourself a challenge now is there. Looking forward to seeing what you receive and what you come up with for your partner.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it. You always have come to the challange and I'm sure you will again.

Good luck Katy, that's a fine looking mosaic.
ReplyDeleteI've been looking around for inspiration for a quilt and I see a couple in your mosaic that are worth a second look. I'm sure you'll be holding your own in this so don't worry just do what you always do and you'll be fine. Hugs
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun swap....I can't wait to see what you all make!
ReplyDeleteCheeky.... funnily enough in the land of sheep there are hardly any goats up here. Did see a couple of Lamas though...
ReplyDeleteI would be only too happy to make for you - you just wouldnt get circles... lol x
Yay you for getting in on the swap! I'd be seriously nervous about making stuff for someone in that list, hehehe.
ReplyDeleteOk, I will follow your bread crumb trail, and see if i find me a quilt along!! In the meantime, I LOVE number 16 on the mosaic, but there is no link, can you remember where you saw it?
ReplyDeleteThis will be fun. What are your color choices?
ReplyDeleteYou'll do great, Katy! I also signed up without a thought about who might be on the receiving end of my efforts. Thanks for freaking me out!
