3 For April, 3 For May
Way back at the beginning of April, Traceyjay came up with the fabulous idea of a 3 for 'insert month of choice' project. That seems like a good idea, thought I, I'll take part... So lets see how I actually did:
Goal #1:
Stained quilt - Finished and sent to granny, in fact it's her birthday today :o)
Goal #2:
Sample swap for the FQ Retreat - Done, done, done, done!
Goal #3:
Rainbow windmill - Just lets not even go there, 'kay?
So what will I aim for for May?
Goal #1:
Retro Flowers - get this finished by the end of the month so it can go to its new destination:
Goal #2:
Siblings Together pair of quilts - get these done in time to take to the FQ Retreat - hoping to achieve that this weekend.
Goal #3:
My Precious quilt #1 - get the top pieced by the end of the month
I think if I get to the end of the month and these 3 are done, I'll be happy. I don't count the ever present bee blocks in my list, as they just keep rolling round, but other than them, I don't think I have any other *have to*s for this month, well, until I fall into another swap or QAL that is... Mind you I do have a few for June, so maybe I should get ahead of myself a bit. Then again... ;o)

Sounds like you are on top of everything and in control. What is that like? It seldom happens with me!
ReplyDeleteWow! Ditto what Susan said!
ReplyDeleteLove the stained quilt! So you didn`t have to shoo your grandmother out the house this time?

ReplyDeleteGranny is over the moon with the stained quilt. It is on her bed and in use. She brought it to-day to show Ian and Diana and they too thought it was fantastic. The design and stitching are really super. Go to the top of the class.
ReplyDeleteDad
I love that stained quilt and still need to make one.
ReplyDeleteJust what do you have against that dang windmill??
ReplyDeleteLovely stuff, specially your innocent stain.... lol
