No, not me, I'm a loooong way from small (perfectly formed though ;o) ) We had our meeting of the West Central Scotland Modern Quilt Guild yesterday for the first of our Sunday meetings. Following discussions with the members it was deemed that weekends were easier than week nights for meetings, so we are now convening on every 3rd Sunday of the month at Trongate 103 in Glasgow (If any of you are in the greater Glasgow/West Central Scotland area that would like to come along, give me a shout :o) )
Being mid summer, only 4 of us could make it, however we did show and tell, and sewed quite a bit too!

| Sheila's show and tell Topsy quilt |
 |
| Janet's show and tell triptych |
 |
| Nikki's show and tell Children At Play |
 |
| All hard at work, look, there's space for you too :oD |
It was fun meeting up with
Sheila, Janet and
Nikki, looking forward to the next meeting already :o)
and you have to admit, only 4 people means there's lots more biscuits for everybody! ;)
ReplyDeleteI had a hard time finding a club where I was in the US that didn't meet mid-week during the day .... in the end I settled for one that met mid-week but after I'd finished work! ... over there they all break for about 3 months for the summer, bah!
ooooh - how exciting!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds so fun! Wish I could make it--just a tad too far!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun - is there any way we could make Glasgow closer to Teesside? Maybe a wrinkle running from Workington to Berwick?!
ReplyDeleteOoo I could fill that spare seat nicely, shame I am hundreds of miles away!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful works of art, truly amazing. So much talent.
ReplyDeleteUm, isn't there one "show and tell" missing? (o:
Hugs ♥
Cool, I know what Nikki looks like now. Glad you had a good meeting!
ReplyDeleteLovely quilts! It is a pity I am so far away . . .
ReplyDeletePomona x
Oh one of these days... hopefully... lol
ReplyDeleteIf I ever get there I'll be sure to make an appearance.
ReplyDeleteIm sure your group will evolve over time and if it's just the 4 of you then that doesnt matter so long as you're having fun.
And why did we not take a pic of you?
ReplyDeleteYou wriggled out of that one.
Looks like it was a lot of fun! =D
ReplyDeleteAh yes, next time we'll make sure we take a pic of you ;) Had a great time!
ReplyDeleteKaty we didn't see what you had for show and tell. Sewing with friends is always good.
ReplyDeleteHugs
It looks like a nice relaxing time. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a productive session. Are the other 2 bloggers? Jxo
ReplyDeletehow great you join the sewing circle, like this kind with groups of friend, pure sewing alone for long is lonely.
ReplyDeleteWait!!! Where's your show and tell?!? Looks like fun!
ReplyDeletewhat a fun night! xo
ReplyDeleteWhat fun, getting together with others who share your love of quilting. I'm in agreement with everyone in wondering how you managed to not get pics of your show and tell. I think you need to do an edit here Missy. ;^}
ReplyDeleteHugs
Looks like a lot of fun, Katy! Hugs, Janice
