Work In Progress Wednesday

Well it's been a rather more productive week this week, even starting the new job and getting into a slightly different routine, although I can't really share much of it yet *sigh*

Finishes This Week:

 My Indie Star quilt - I managed to nip out yesterday at lunchtime and get some pics.  Full post later this week, but here's a sneak peek (BTW, it doesn't really have a big crease quilted into the front of it, I'd just had it all folded up small in a bag and had no way of smoothing it out for the photos even if I had noticed it at the time!):

The bear is coming along too, but since he's currently just a pile of cut out shapes with most of his seam allowances trimmed, he's not exactly exciting enough for a pic.

  7. I did a double take on your Stitch Tease block/quilt. Is it really patchwork? It looks like a pixelated photo. Amazing stuff.

  8. Still lovin' the star, and can't wait to see Di's block. I just ordered backing for my giant star - just hoping it shows at my friend's house in the States before she leaves for here tomorrow!

  12. Im really liking the circle quilting on Indie Star ...its the perfect foil for the angles.

    He cant be much of a secret squirrel if you managed to get a snap of him can he?

  14. How fun! Everything is looking great, and I love the color combo for Di's block. I have a weird fascination with squirrels and I annoyingly post too often on Facebook about them. :). Thanks for the orchid link! It will help a lot.

  18. Good finishes. Your Indie Star quilt is fantastic and the wrinkle does not distract from it's beauty. It took me a few seconds to figure out what I was looking at with the EATKS block but that's only because I'm slow. Great fabric choices for the cups.
